Hate Is Necessary

Hate is necessary in order to get the important things done
There has to be a little bit of dislike in seeing the bottom rungs
of the social ladder
Filled with hard working people just stuck 
trying to live a life that matters

I'm saying you should hate the way we currently live 
Having to decide between daily survival or believing the fib
that billionaires have tied their own bootstraps 
and their lies are not just designed to get you addicted to the next fickle brain rotting app

Hate is necessary in filtering your thoughts 
concerning those who can be bought
with a quick buck
However, selling your soul will never enough
Corruption can never know the peace of settled love

Hate is necessary to drive legitimate change
It is not enough to merely wish that things were no longer the same
You must understand the rules of the game 
and remove the rose colored glass from the picture frame
That is the blood of the innocent that stains the rich man's name

Hate is necessary for people like you and me
Live a bit longer and maybe you'll see
I'm telling the truth 
Allow the bitterness to take root
So the societal shifting can begin to bear fruit

We must do our part
to tear the capitalistic lies apart
For now, it is enough to let our hate for being beaten down and weary be the start
