Marry Me, Archie
You explicitly reminded me of the importance of taking no for answer
I reminded you of the tenacity of those who do not
For it is the bond in those differences in opinions that binded this matrimonial knot quite taut
No other seas hold water for me, there is no need to panic
But I must apologize in turn, for my anxiety in having to wait for your response has made me quite frantic
Please say yes, or don't
I cannot change your mind
But just wanted you to know all the ways that you have taken root in mine
Not worried about the invitations-
We'll know who add to the list
Those expansive and expensive decorations can be dismissed
as well any thoughtless, tacky gifts
Your eclectic and electric devotion is the only ship I want sailing upon my ocean
So I wrap up this plea quite simply and hopefully not pathetically
and pray that you won't find this poem in the least bit greedy
in that your love is the centerpiece of all my life's meaning
Please, please, won't you marry me, Archie?

Wicked, I loved the clever rhyme schemes throughout and the twisting rhythm of it all.
