Racist To A Point
Let me tell you something, brother
These people around here will do nothing but disappoint
Their souls are rotted, blunted from within
They're only racist to a point
They've never used the n word
And claim to promote values free and true
But they'd never allow their white daughters and sons
To break bread with people that look like me and you
โSeperate but equal" seemed like a good idea to them
Everyone having their own space
Why do we have to mix?
Why should our kids have to pay the price for your overwhelming ignorance?
Nothing was ever equal here
Slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, incarceration state has seen to that
But hey it's surely enough that upon the labor of our collective backs
That the Caucasian wallet has grown this fat
And believe me, I've heard it before
Not all whites
But it seems to me that the vocal minority
Is still not all that bright
Spreading lies about how everyone is the same in their eyesight
And how color doesn't matter
But miss me with the bullshit
It's all just idle chatter
Don't want to put the work in to see what's right in front of their faces
The prejudice has always served as the focal joint
I have nothing else to say to those who
are only racist to a point

Sick bro! Gil Scott Heron would be proud.. you really captured a calm cool and collected strength with a bit of wit. One of my faves by you so far!
